Version 1.0 (release-1.0 tag)
-----------------------------

- You need to use a bash-compatible shell (tcsh/csh will not work)

- You will need makeinfo.  We use version 4.8

- The SETUP_DEV_ENV.pl script does not build Dev86 since many distros already
  include it.  However, we include the Dev86 tarball in case you need to
  build it yourself.   The Dev86 build process is commented out in 
  SETUP_DEV_ENV.pl.
